Before you Begin:
In order to support the claim that you were sold phantom shares, you will need to have the following minimum documentation:
- Purchase records from brokerage firm acknowledging price and settlement date for every transaction in the stock
- Dated correspondence with brokerage indicating that you requested and were unable to obtain shares, or their statement of the final status ("certificates unavailable", "worthless", "deleted", etc.)
The earlier you get confirmation from the brokerage firm that shares you purchased and paid for are not available, the more likely you will have a successful claim.
The registration form asks for some identifying data so we may contact you if we need additional information. Please note that we are not asking you to submit any highly-sensitive personal information such as your brokerage account numbers, social security identification, etc. Please read our Privacy Policy. We plan to analyze this database to determine the true extent of the damage done to the investors who are holding "phantom shares" in US equities.
